A Ray of Sunshine on a Rainy Day
Good Friday morning!
I had no intentions of writing a post today, however it's raining outside and I think it's more productive to write than going back to bed! :p
I just found out I won 1st Place in a contest held on Fine Art America. I have a website there, that features and sells my art. It's also a great community of fellow artists with the same passion for art.
The prize is a feature of the winning photos on the homepage of the group and that way it is more visible to prospective buyers & collectors.
Pretty exciting stuff! :D

A Rainy Day
This is going to actually be more of a blog post!
It's a pretty yucky rainy day today. Though everything is starting to green up outside..and buds are forming quickly on the trees. I guess that's the positive side. The negative side is that I don't feel like doing anything!
I am sure you can relate.
If the sun was shining I would be out there walking and enjoying the outdoors.
Something cool happened to me a month or so ago. A friend asked me if I would like to contribute a small column for a local online paper...featuring photography. Bird Photography! SO, if you would like to take a peek at that column...it's called For the Birds! (Click on that) I will be posting weekly.

The Millstone
What is the Millstone? It is an ONLINE paper for the community I live in.
I have recently been asked to do a little column about Birds...more specifically, Bird photography. I am honoured...was honoured and I now present you with this, My very first published article. :)
